This is my journey — shaped by a passion for design
○ From the classroom to creativity
Back in high school, I was fortunate enough to achieve one of the highest scores in my country. While waiting for a scholarship to come through, I stumbled upon graphic and motion design. It was an unexpected discovery, but from the moment I started, I felt a spark. I knew I had found something special.
○ Chasing a dream in Turkey
When the scholarship finally arrived, I was off to Turkey to study Computer Engineering—a dream I had long held. The excitement of building technologies that could help millions of people was exhilarating. But even as I delved into code and algorithms, the love for design stayed with me, quietly but persistently.
○ Discovering UX/UI Design
During my time in university, I heard about something called UX/UI Design. It was related to software, but it was also about connecting with users on a deeper level and involved more visual creativity than traditional software development. In that moment, I knew this was my calling. This was what I wanted to pursue in my future career.
○ Six years of designing impactful products
With six years of experience under my belt, I’ve had the privilege of turning ideas into products that people love to use. I began freelancing as a UX/UI designer while still in school, honing my craft and learning everything I could about the field. After graduating, I knew my path was clear—I was going to follow my passion for design. My background in Computer Engineering turned out to be a powerful asset. It gave me a unique perspective, allowing me to understand developers’ challenges better than most. This understanding has enabled me to create designs that are not only visually stunning but also technically feasible.
